Liz Hepp is a freelance dance artist and producer based in Brooklyn, NY. Most recently she performed in works by Michelle Thompson Ulerich, Heidi Latsky, Ben Wright, PeiJu Chien-Pott with Periapsis Dance Company and created the dance theater show Fact or Fiction with Caitlin Trainor’s Trainor Dance which ran monthly at The PIT from Fall 2023 - Spring 2024.
She danced as a company member with Dusan Tynek Dance Theater and Erick Montes’ Danceable Projects from 2017 – 2020 and in 2018 performed in the Nick Mauss: Transmissions Exhibition at The Whitney Museum. Other hightlights include presenting her own work with poet Jean Surena in the Whispers of Rhythm series, collaborating and performing with choreographer Molly Gorin in giant silver dome skirts on NoSphere Arts rooftop, training with David Zambrano for an intensive two weeks in Madrid and many summers spent as a workshop student with the Merce Cunningham Trust.
Liz is also a co-producer with CreateArt Performance, where she organizes dance performances in nontraditional spaces such as Ace Hotel Brooklyn and Carroll Hall, and a creative producer with Remote Daily, where she programs and produces interactive virtual events for organizations worldwide.
She holds a BFA from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. NYC has been her home for the last 15 years and she plans to stay forever.
